Hallo Allerseits!


Ich bin Christina Leist, eine deutsch-kanadische schreibende Illustratorin und Grafikerin aus dem schönen Vancouver in Kanada.

Ich habe in Wiesbaden an der Hochschule RheinMain Kommunikationsdesign studiert und bin 1999 dort als Diplom Designerin abgegangen. Nach meinem Studium habe ich als Art-Direktorin in verschiedenen internationalen Werbeagenturen, Verlagen und Medienunternehmen gearbeitet. Seit über zehn Jahren verdinge ich mich nun außerdem als freiberufliche Grafik Designerin und schreibende Illustratorin.

Ich schnuppere gerne Bergluft, hätte am Liebsten allerlei Viehzeug um mich herum (am besten einen Hund, eine Katze, ein Pony, einen Esel und ein paar Hühner), mache Yoga, bin begeisterte Tennisspielerin und habe großen Spaß an Schulbesuchen.
Besonders freue ich mich darüber mittlerweile sowohl Deutsche als auch Kanadierin zu sein.

Oh, Hello There!


I am Christina Leist, a writer/illustrator and graphic designer living in the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada.

I graduated from the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany (in Communication Design) in 1999. I started out working as an Art Director for a variety of international ad agencies. After that I art-directed for publishing and a TV Station. For the last decade and a bit I have also been freelancing as a graphic designer and most importantly as a (writer/) illustrator.

I am happiest in the mountains (or hills) and would love to be surrounded by a dog, a cat, a pony, a donkey and chickens. I practice yoga, am an enthusiastic tennis player and enjoy visiting classrooms as a speaker.
I consider myself very lucky that I now hold two great nationalities – German and Canadian.
